The Black Rock Musicians Collective is devoted to supporting volunteer musicians and enhancing orchestral performances at Burning Man, acting as the governance body for the Black Rock Philharmonic.
Black Rock Philharmonic is a large-scale symphonic orchestra formed by musicians from around the world to create ambitious orchestral performances at Burning Man and other collaborative environments. Known for its community-driven structure and artistic excellence, the Philharmonic brings together professional and dedicated amateur musicians to perform challenging repertoire in unique, immersive settings. Black Rock Philharmonic is a project of the Black Rock Musicians Collective, a musician-led nonprofit organization currently in the process of incorporation.
